I sat down a few weeks ago, exploring sounds and discovered the "bass" that you're hearing in this soundscape. It felt like a blend between a soft bass and an ambient pad. After coming up with the bass part and layering a few pads on top, I noticed it was already floating. So I decided to keep this one minimal. It's dreamy with a classic ambient feel. Distorting lines between nostalgic and futuristic.
